Estate Planning

We believe God is the owner of everything and He blesses us to be a blessing to others. Estate Planning is the process of anticipating and arranging for the distribution of the resources that God has entrusted to you for the benefit of those people you love and those charitable organizations you admire.

Too often, committed and generous tithers simply do not think of leaving a portion of their earthly estate for Kingdom advancing ministries. More than 70% of Americans do not have a current will. Therefore, we encourage you to take a Christian perspective of Estate Planning by placing God and others first in your thought process.

Examples from scripture that guide these principles are:

  • “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.” – Proverbs 3:9
  • “We brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing from it.” – 1 Timothy 6:7

Your legacy can be established in an estate plan which can say something like, “at the time of death, the things I own will be given to those individuals (family and friends) and organizations (your church, the New Work Foundation and/or other charities) who will continue to use my assets in such a way that reflects my character and faith.”
